The Importance of Controlling Your Access & Accounts

To manage increasing risks, Michigan Tech must have a strong and reliable process to properly identify users of its systems. Your Michigan Tech ISO username and password is required for access to most University information systems.

Strong passwords are essential to secure Michigan Tech's information assets and to keep your information private. All ISO accounts have assigned password policies that govern how and when passwords must be changed and what passwords can be used.

About the Michigan Tech Initial Sign-On (ISO)

Michigan Tech Initial Sign-On is an authentication and authorization system for the web. The sole purpose of the system is to provide a central authentication place for Michigan Tech's web community.

There are many systems that already use the Michigan Tech ISO Apache module(s) and/or the Michigan Tech ISO password for authentication. Click to find out what is using the Michigan Tech ISO system or password.
